Join the Tiger Squadron for a weekend of formation flying, great food and drink, camaraderie and even a buffalo burger at Catalina Island!

Tiger at the TdP

Arrivals will be on Friday, July 16th in the late afternoon in time for a gourmet dinner at Tiger Headquarters with food prepared by Tigers' chef Noah! Saturday dinner will be hosted at Craig and Hanne Ekberg's home overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island.

Serious flying will be all day on Saturday and Sunday with a lunch flight to Catalina Island on Sunday.

If you do not have a FAST card you will be contacted in advance of the event to discuss your formation experience and training needs. All pilots will be expected to have a thorough familiarity with the RPA Formation Manual.

Ground transportation will be provided. Park at transient at the base of the tower.

Departures will be on Sunday late afternoon.
Breakfasts are at the hotel or on your own and lunch at Catalina is on your own.
Catalina Island landing fee is not included.

Spouses are invited to attend.

Those wishing to stay locally Friday and Saturday evening can book rooms at the Ramada Motel which is walking distance from the airport. A 20% room discount is available for Red Star Pilots Association guests. Hotel: 310-997-0303
