All Red Star 2026 will be held at (KPTV) Porterville, CA
This will be our 24th year and we are planning for lot's of training, our annual Carrier landing contest, ballon prop chop event, and more! FAST Check Pilots, and experienced Lead Pilots will be available to ensure that all your training needs are met.
Formation Training Requirements
For non-FAST patched pilots: It is a requirement as a pilot at ARS that you possess a copy and have studied the RPA Formation Manual.
You are also required to view the RPA Wing Ground School Video online

Membership in the RPA is not required to attend but IS required for an RPA FAST check ride.
Registration
Please click on the Register Now button and complete a seperate registration for each participant that will be attending the event (pilot or non flying guest). We are including ground transportation this year by providing vans to shuttle between the airport and the hotel, but if you would like a car of your own, rental information is provided below.
Event Fees
Event fees will be $300.00. The event fee includes lunch and dinner Thurs evening through Saturday night including drinks, beer and snacks for the whole event. Breakfasts are included at the hotel. Event fees go up to $340 starting April 2 and T-shirt and flight suit name patch orders have to be in by April 1st.
T Shirts
Register by April 2nd to receive an event T-shirt and custom embroidered flight-suit name patch (name patch only for those who didn’t attend last year).
